Brenda Walker is a Detroit-born creative whose passion for storytelling spans across multiple artistic mediums. From film to poetry, she thrives on blending different forms of expression to spark conversation, challenge perspectives, and create meaningful impact. Her latest short film, NAKED, is streaming on Amazon Prime, exploring powerful themes within the Black woman’s experience.
Brenda found her voice in poetry in highschool. Over the years, she’s performed at numerous high school and college events, Noow, as she collaborates with UNMET, Brenda is returning to her poetic roots to rediscover the profound impact of the medium’s storytelling.
By day, Brenda works at a creative agency called Crown and Conquer, an agency known for its work with major brands like Netflix, Amazon, and Spotify. By night, she channels her creative energy into producing passion projects that explore intersectional narratives and amplify voices and themes that are often overlooked
